Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including assessment, medication administration, and treatment coordination
- Document patient information accurately in EMR systems following regulatory standards
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Educate patients and families on health conditions and discharge protocols
- Monitor vital signs and respond to changes in patient condition
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and safety protocols
- Maintain sterile environments and infection control procedures
Qualifications
- Active California RN license (or eligible to obtain by start date)
- BSN degree or ADN with enrollment in BSN completion program
- Recent nursing graduate (within 12 months) or 1 year of acute care experience
- BLS/CPR certification from AHA
- Excellent communication and critical thinking skills
- Commitment to ongoing professional development
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including weekends and holidays
