Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including assessment, medication administration, and treatment implementation
- Document patient information accurately in electronic health records (EPIC)
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and execute patient care plans
- Monitor vital signs and respond to changes in patient condition
- Educate patients and families on health management and discharge planning
- Adhere to hospital policies, OSHA standards, and nursing protocols
- Participate in shift handoffs and safety initiatives
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN required)
- Active RN license in North Carolina or compact state
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- ACLS certification preferred (will be provided if not obtained)
- New graduates or nurses with <1 year of experience encouraged to apply
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work rotating shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
