Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in accordance with established protocols and physician orders
- Administer medications, treatments, and vaccinations with precision and safety
- Monitor patient vital signs, symptoms, and progress through electronic health records
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, medications, and discharge planning
- Adhere to infection control standards and maintain sterile clinical environments
- Participate in shift handovers and ensure accurate documentation of all patient interactions
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN)
- Current North Carolina RN license (or eligibility for immediate licensure)
- Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
