Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in assigned units including assessment, medication administration, and treatment implementation
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and execute individualized care plans
- Document patient observations and interventions accurately in electronic health records
- Monitor vital signs and respond to emergency situations following established protocols
- Educate patients and families on health conditions and discharge procedures
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and safety committees
- Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA and hospital policies
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN)
- Active Pennsylvania RN license (or eligible to obtain immediately)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments
