Responsibilities
- Assess patient acuity and prioritize emergency cases using ESI protocols
- Provide expert clinical guidance to patients via phone, video, and telehealth platforms
- Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and emergency departments to coordinate care
- Document assessments and interventions accurately in Epic EMR systems
- Develop and implement triage protocols for diverse patient populations
- Mentor junior nursing staff and conduct quality assurance reviews
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years ER/urgent care triage experience
- Current Washington RN license with BSN or higher
- ENPC, TNCC, and ACLS certifications required
- Proficiency in Epic EMR and telehealth technologies
- Demonstrated expertise in rapid assessment protocols
- Exceptional communication skills under pressure
- Experience with pediatric/adult trauma triage preferred
