Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care under supervision of charge nurses and preceptors
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
- Document patient assessments and interventions in electronic health records
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop patient plans
- Participate in shift reports and handoffs to ensure continuity of care
- Adhere to hospital policies, safety protocols, and regulatory standards
- Complete residency modules and competency evaluations
Qualifications
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (ADN/BSN required)
- Active Michigan RN license (or eligible to sit for NCLEX)
- Graduation from accredited nursing program within 12 months
- BLS/CPR certification (required by start date)
- Basic computer proficiency for documentation systems
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work rotating shifts including weekends and holidays
