Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in medical-surgical units with 4-6 patient assignments
- Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and document electronic health records
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop patient care plans
- Educate patients and families on health management and discharge protocols
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance and hospital safety regulations
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuous training
Qualifications
- Active Georgia RN license (or compact state license)
- BSN degree preferred; ADN accepted with 2+ years experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- EMR proficiency (Epic systems preferred)
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including nights/weekends
- Experience with telemetry or oncology units preferred
