Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care under supervision of experienced nurses
- Administer medications and treatments accurately per physician orders
- Monitor patient vital signs and document electronic health records
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop treatment plans
- Educate patients and families on health conditions and discharge instructions
- Adhere to hospital policies, JCAHO standards, and nursing protocols
- Participate in shift handoffs and safety initiatives
Qualifications
- Active Georgia RN license (or compact license with GA residency)
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing from accredited program
- Pass NCLEX-RN exam (or scheduled within 3 months)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including nights/weekends
