Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care under supervision of experienced RNs
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
- Monitor patient vital signs and document clinical observations
- Assist in emergency response procedures and code situations
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams
- Participate in patient education and discharge planning
- Maintain strict HIPAA compliance and infection control protocols
Qualifications
- Active Illinois RN license (or willingness to obtain immediately)
- ADN or BSN degree from accredited nursing program
- CPR certification (BLS for Healthcare Providers)
- Passing score on NCLEX-RN exam
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including nights/weekends
