Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and monitor vital signs to ensure safety and well-being.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to develop and adjust patient care plans.
- Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient care activities and medical records.
- Provide patient and family education regarding diagnoses, treatments, and self-care strategies.
- Respond promptly to patient needs and assist in emergency situations when required.
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited Nursing program (ADN or BSN).
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of California.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
