Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in acute and ambulatory settings
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
- Monitor patient vitals and document EHR entries accurately
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams
- Educate patients/families on health management
- Adhere to JCAHO and HIPAA compliance standards
- Participate in unit quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's in Nursing (ADN/BSN)
- Active CA RN license (or eligible)
- BSL/ACLS certification
- NCLEX pass within 6 months of hire
- Clinical rotation experience preferred
- Strong critical thinking skills
- EMR/EHR proficiency
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs
