Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care across multiple units including medical-surgical, telemetry, and emergency departments
- Administer medications, treatments, and vaccinations with precision while maintaining strict safety protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Document patient assessments and interventions using Epic electronic health records system
- Participate in rapid response teams and emergency situations with composure
- Maintain strict adherence to infection control standards and regulatory requirements
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives through data collection and analysis
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program with ADN or BSN degree
- Active Washington State RN license or eligibility to obtain immediately
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification with ability to obtain ACLS within 6 months
- Clinical rotation experience in acute care settings preferred
- Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with diverse populations
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
