Responsibilities
- Deliver compassionate patient care across diverse medical units including ICU, ER, and pediatrics
- Administer medications, perform diagnostic tests, and document patient assessments using Epic EHR
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Provide patient and family education on health conditions and treatment protocols
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance, JCAHO standards, and hospital safety protocols
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and process optimization projects
- Maintain accurate medical records and ensure regulatory compliance
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Illinois (or compact state with ability to obtain IL license)
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited program
- ACLS/BLS certification within 30 days of hire
- Basic ECG interpretation and IV therapy skills
- Excellent communication and critical thinking abilities
- Commitment to ongoing professional development
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including nights/weekends
- Pass background check and pre-employment health screening
