Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including medication administration, wound care, and vital sign monitoring
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in electronic health records (EHR)
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatments, and preventive care
- Adhere to hospital policies, safety protocols, and regulatory compliance standards
- Participate in shift handovers and patient care conferences
- Maintain accurate medical records and ensure confidentiality of patient information
Qualifications
- Active California Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Associate or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (ASN/BSN) required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from American Heart Association
- Clinical rotation experience in acute care setting preferred
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in fast-paced environment
