Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality direct patient care in accordance with evidence-based nursing practices
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in electronic health records
- Administer medications and treatments safely under physician supervision
- Participate in clinical rotations across diverse specialty units including med-surg, telemetry, and critical care
- Attend mandatory orientation and skills workshops to build foundational competencies
- Adhere to NY State nursing regulations and hospital safety protocols
Qualifications
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (ADN/BSN) from an accredited program
- Active New York State RN license (or eligible to sit for NCLEX within 3 months)
- CPR/BLS certification (ACLS preferred)
- Passion for patient care and commitment to professional growth
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
- Ability to work in fast-paced environments with minimal experience
- Willingness to rotate through clinical units during orientation period
- Valid US work authorization
