Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in medical/surgical units with 24/7 clinical support
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and hospital protocols
- Document patient assessments and care plans using Epic EMR system
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Participate in emergency response and rapid intervention team activations
- Adhere to JCAHO standards and infection control policies
- Complete annual clinical competencies and skill validations
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Kansas (or compact license with quick endorsement)
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing from accredited program
- Pass NCLEX-RN exam (or scheduled within 90 days of hire)
- BLS/CPR certification (AHA preferred)
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including weekends and holidays
- No prior nursing experience required - we train new graduates!
