Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care across multiple units including medical-surgical, telemetry, and emergency departments
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions per physician orders and facility protocols
- Monitor patient vital signs and document clinical observations accurately in electronic health records
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, medications, and discharge instructions
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance and maintain strict confidentiality of patient information
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and safety audits
Qualifications
- Active RN license in the state of Indiana (or eligible to obtain)
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited program
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required (ACLS preferred)
- Clinical rotation experience in acute care settings
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments
- Commitment to ongoing professional development
