Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care across various units including medical-surgical, telemetry, and emergency departments
- Administer medications, perform wound care, and monitor vital signs with precision
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Document patient assessments and interventions accurately in electronic health records
- Participate in emergency response protocols and rapid response team activations
- Maintain strict adherence to infection control and safety standards
- Support patient education for chronic disease management and discharge planning
Qualifications
- Active California RN license (or eligibility to obtain within 30 days)
- Associate or Bachelor of Science in Nursing from an accredited program
- Completion of clinical rotations or new graduate residency program preferred
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in fast-paced environments
- Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems
