Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care across diverse medical units including telemetry, oncology, and general medicine
- Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapies per physician orders
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in electronic health records
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Educate patients and families on health conditions and discharge procedures
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance and hospital safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid California RN license (or eligible for license by start date)
- BSN degree from accredited nursing program
- ACLS/BLS certification (or obtainable within 30 days)
- Clinical rotation experience in acute care settings
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
