Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care including assessment, medication administration, and treatment implementation
- Monitor patient vital signs, symptoms, and progress with meticulous documentation
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and execute individualized care plans
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatments, and preventive care
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance, safety protocols, and evidence-based practices
- Participate in shift handovers and contribute to quality improvement initiatives
- Maintain accurate electronic health records using advanced EHR systems
Qualifications
- Graduate of accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN)
- Active Georgia RN license (or ability to obtain immediately)
- BLS/CPR certification required (ACLS preferred)
- Clinical rotation experience in acute care settings
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts including nights/weekends
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic EHR systems
