Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional patient care across diverse medical units including ER, ICU, and surgical services
- Administer medications and treatments with precision while monitoring patient vitals
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Educate patients and families on treatment protocols and post-discharge care
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and safety protocols
- Lead shift handovers with clear communication of critical patient information
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Washington State with BLS certification
- BSN degree required; MSN preferred for specialized roles
- Minimum 2 years acute care experience in a Level 1 Trauma Center
- Proficiency in Epic electronic health records system
- Strong critical thinking skills for complex patient cases
- Exceptional communication and empathy in high-pressure situations
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Certification in relevant specialty (e.g., ACLS, PALS) preferred
