Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in accordance with evidence-based nursing standards
- Monitor and document patient vital signs, symptoms, and treatment responses
- Administer medications and therapeutic interventions under physician supervision
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, medications, and discharge plans
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and documentation
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and safety protocols
Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (ADN/BSN) required
- Active New York State RN license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- New graduates and nurses with <1 year experience encouraged to apply
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
