Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including medication administration, wound care, and treatment assistance
- Monitor vital signs and document patient assessments accurately in EHR systems
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Educate patients and families on health conditions and discharge procedures
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance and hospital safety protocols
- Participate in shift handovers and unit quality improvement initiatives
- Respond to emergency situations following ACLS/BLS protocols
Qualifications
- Active Ohio RN license (or compact license with Ohio endorsement)
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (ADN/BSN)
- Completion of clinical rotations or new graduate residency program
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including nights/weekends
- Pass background check and pre-employment health screening
- Proficiency in electronic health record systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner)
