Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in accordance with established protocols and physician orders
- Administer medications and treatments accurately while monitoring patient responses
- Document patient assessments and care plans in electronic health records (EHR)
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care transitions
- Educate patients and families on health conditions and discharge instructions
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance and hospital safety regulations
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and unit-based committees
Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN)
- Active Ohio RN license or eligibility to obtain immediately
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Clinical rotation experience in acute care setting preferred
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to professional growth and continuing education
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including weekends and holidays
