Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in accordance with established nursing standards and protocols
- Administer medications and treatments accurately while monitoring patient responses
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic health record system
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatments, and preventive care
- Maintain a safe and sterile environment in all patient care areas
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education programs
Qualifications
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited program
- Current Texas Registered Nurse (RN) license or ability to obtain prior to start date
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
