Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care under supervision of experienced RNs and charge nurses
- Administer medications and treatments accurately while maintaining patient safety protocols
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in electronic health records
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Monitor vital signs and patient responses to treatments, reporting abnormalities promptly
- Educate patients and families about health conditions and discharge instructions
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and safety rounds
Qualifications
- Valid California RN license (or eligible for immediate licensure)
- BSN degree from an accredited nursing program
- CPR certification required (BLS for Healthcare Providers)
- Completion of nursing program within the last 12 months
- Clinical rotation experience in acute care setting
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in fast-paced environment
