Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in the emergency department using evidence-based nursing practices
- Administer medications and treatments accurately while monitoring patient responses
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in electronic health records
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Educate patients and families on health conditions and discharge instructions
- Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA and hospital safety protocols
Qualifications
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (ADN/BSN) required
- Active Kentucky RN license or eligibility for immediate endorsement
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
