Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in acute care settings with rotating shift flexibility
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
- Document patient assessments and care plans in EMR systems
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for holistic care coordination
- Monitor vital signs and respond to emergency situations
- Educate patients and families on health management
- Adhere to JCAHO and DC Board of Nursing regulations
Qualifications
- Active RN license in District of Columbia
- BSN degree (ADN candidates considered with 1+ years experience)
- ACLS/BLS certifications (or obtain within 30 days)
- Graduation from accredited nursing program
- Passing NCLEX-RN score
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights/weekends
- Basic EMR proficiency (Epic preferred)
