Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in medical-surgical units under preceptor guidance
- Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and document electronic health records
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop patient care plans
- Educate patients and families on health management and discharge protocols
- Adhere to JCAHO and hospital safety standards at all times
- Participate in shift handoffs and quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Valid Arizona RN license (or eligible to obtain within 30 days)
- Associate or Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree
- ACLS/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain within 90 days)
- Basic computer proficiency with EMR systems
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts, nights, and weekends as needed
- Recent graduates with clinical rotations encouraged to apply
