Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care under supervision of charge nurses
- Administer medications and monitor patient vitals
- Document clinical observations accurately in EMR systems
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams
- Participate in patient education and discharge planning
- Adhere to HIPAA and hospital safety protocols
- Complete competency assessments and continuing education
Qualifications
- Recent nursing program graduate (2023-2024)
- Active Texas RN license or eligibility
- BLS certification (required before start)
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
- Commitment to patient-centered care
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts (rotating schedule)
- Basic computer proficiency for EMR systems
