Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in accordance with established nursing standards and protocols
- Administer medications and treatments accurately while monitoring patient responses
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic health record system
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, medications, and self-care techniques
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain compliance with regulatory standards
- Respond effectively to emergency situations and perform rapid patient assessments
Qualifications
- Associate or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (ASN/BSN) from an accredited program
- Active Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) license or ability to obtain immediately
- NCLEX-RN exam pass result (or scheduled completion date)
- CPR/BLS certification (American Heart Association)
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
