Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in acute care settings under RN supervision
- Administer medications and perform clinical interventions per physician orders
- Document patient assessments and care plans using Epic EHR system
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care delivery
- Educate patients and families on health management and discharge planning
- Adhere to JCAHO standards and hospital safety protocols
- Participate in shift handoffs and quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Valid Ohio RN license (or eligible for immediate licensure)
- BSN degree from ACEN or CCNE-accredited program
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Clinical rotation experience in medical-surgical nursing
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including weekends and holidays
