Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in accordance with established nursing standards and protocols
- Administer medications, treatments, and vaccinations accurately while documenting in EMR systems
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond to changes in condition promptly
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop individualized patient care plans
- Educate patients and families on health management and discharge procedures
- Maintain sterile environments and adhere to infection control guidelines
- Participate in shift handovers and report patient status changes effectively
Qualifications
- Active RN license in the state of Ohio (or eligible to obtain)
- Associates or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (ADN or BSN required)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (ACLS preferred)
- Clinical rotation experience in acute care settings
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights/weekends
- Proficiency with electronic health record systems (EPIC experience preferred)
