Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and monitor vital signs.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Document patient care plans, assessments, and outcomes accurately in EMR systems.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Provide direct patient care, including hygiene, comfort measures, and emotional support.
- Respond promptly to patient needs and emergency situations.
- Educate patients and families on post-discharge care and health maintenance.
Qualifications
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse license in the State of Arizona.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on patient advocacy.
- Commitment to professional growth and evidence-based practice.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume clinical environment.
