Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care under supervision of experienced nursing staff
- Assess patient conditions and document clinical observations accurately
- Administer medications and treatments as per physician orders
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop care plans
- Participate in hands-on clinical rotations across hospital departments
- Complete structured competency training and skills assessments
- Uphold strict HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality standards
Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (ADN/BSN)
- Active Texas RN license or eligible for immediate licensure
- Passion for patient care and willingness to learn
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (or obtainable within 30 days)
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including weekends/nights
- Commitment to completing our 6-month nursing residency program
