Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care across diverse medical units including medical-surgical, telemetry, and emergency departments
- Administer medications, perform treatments, and monitor vital signs with precision
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Document patient assessments and interventions accurately in electronic health records
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, medications, and discharge planning
- Adhere to NY State nursing regulations and hospital protocols for safety and compliance
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives and peer review processes
Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (ASN/BSN)
- Active New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Recent nursing graduate or less than 1 year of clinical experience
- Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking abilities
