Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care across multiple units including medical-surgical, telemetry, and emergency departments
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders with precise documentation
- Monitor vital signs and patient responses to interventions using advanced monitoring systems
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, medications, and discharge planning
- Maintain accurate electronic health records using Epic EMR system
- Participate in rapid response team activations and code blue emergencies
Qualifications
- Active Florida RN license (or eligibility to obtain immediately)
- ADN or BSN degree from accredited nursing program
- CPR/BLS certification (ACLS preferred, will provide training)
- Graduated within last 2 years OR career changer with healthcare experience
- Strong critical thinking and clinical judgment abilities
- Excellent communication skills and emotional intelligence
- Commitment to ongoing professional development
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including weekends and holidays
