Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in accordance with established nursing standards and protocols
- Administer medications and treatments accurately while documenting patient responses
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Monitor vital signs and assess patient conditions for changes requiring intervention
- Educate patients and families on health conditions and discharge procedures
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) documentation
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance and infection control guidelines
Qualifications
- Valid California Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Associate or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (ASN/BSN) required
- ACLS/BLS certifications (or obtainable within 90 days)
- Recent nursing graduates or nurses with <1 year experience encouraged
- Basic computer proficiency with EHR systems
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including weekends and holidays
