Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, compassionate patient care under the direct supervision of experienced nursing staff.
- Assess patient health status through observation, interview, and physical examination.
- Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols and physician orders.
- Document patient care activities accurately and timely in electronic health records (EHR).
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Monitor patient conditions and alert physicians or charge nurses to any changes in status.
Qualifications
- Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Pennsylvania.
- Graduation from an accredited Nursing School (ADN or BSN) required; BSN preferred for new graduates.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS certification required or willingness to obtain within 3 months.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with patients, families, and medical staff.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume clinical environment.
- Compassionate demeanor with a strong commitment to patient safety and advocacy.
