Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care across diverse clinical settings
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
- Document patient assessments and progress in EMR systems
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams
- Monitor vital signs and report critical changes
- Educate patients on health maintenance and discharge plans
- Adhere to HIPAA and OSHA compliance standards
Qualifications
- Active NC RN license (or compact state eligibility)
- Associate or BSN degree from accredited program
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Clinical rotation experience in acute care settings
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including weekends
