Responsibilities
- Deliver Patient Care: Provide direct care to patients, including monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and assisting with daily activities under supervision.
- Documentation: Accurately maintain and update patient records, charts, and medical histories in the Electronic Health Record (EHR).
- Communication: Collaborate effectively with physicians, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Emergency Response: Respond promptly to patient needs and emergencies, following hospital protocols and safety guidelines.
- Patient Education: Educate patients and their families on post-discharge care and health maintenance.
Qualifications
- Education: Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution.
- Licensure: Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Kentucky (or willingness to relocate).
- Entry Level: Recent graduates are highly encouraged to apply.
- Skills: Strong critical thinking, attention to detail, and basic computer literacy.
