Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and monitor vital signs continuously.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments in strict adherence to safety protocols.
- Document patient care activities accurately and timely in the electronic health record.
- Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to develop and adjust patient care plans.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding diagnoses and treatment plans.
- Ensure the maintenance of a clean, safe, and sanitized patient environment.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and unit-based meetings.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the State of California.
- Graduation from an accredited Nursing Program (Associate Degree in Nursing or Bachelor of Science in Nursing) within the last 12 months.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
- Strong critical thinking and clinical judgment skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and work effectively in a fast-paced setting.
- Demonstrated compassion and commitment to patient-centered care.
