Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in accordance with nursing standards and hospital policies
- Administer medications, treatments, and diagnostic procedures under physician supervision
- Monitor patient vital signs and document clinical observations accurately
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement care plans
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, medications, and discharge planning
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and patient safety protocols
- Maintain accurate medical records and electronic health documentation
Qualifications
- Active Oregon RN license or eligible for immediate licensure
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN preferred)
- ACLS/BLS certifications (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Completion of nursing clinical rotations or preceptorship program
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Basic computer proficiency for electronic health records
- Passion for patient advocacy and healthcare excellence
