Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care following evidence-based nursing standards
- Administer medications and treatments accurately per physician orders
- Monitor vital signs and document patient data in electronic health records
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop patient care plans
- Educate patients and families on health conditions and discharge plans
- Maintain sterile environments and infection control protocols
- Participate in rapid response and emergency care situations
Qualifications
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (ADN/BSN)
- Active RN license in North Carolina (or willingness to obtain)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Clinical rotation experience in acute care settings
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
