Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, and feeding
- Monitor vital signs and document patient health status accurately
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and rehabilitation exercises
- Support patients with medication administration under supervision
- Collaborate with nursing staff to create individualized care plans
- Maintain clean, safe patient environments and infection control protocols
- Offer emotional support and companionship to residents
Qualifications
- Active New York State CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year recent CNA experience in long-term care or hospital setting
- Current CPR certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed
- Valid NY State driver's license and reliable transportation
