Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in medical-surgical units under supervision
- Administer medications and perform IV therapy per protocols
- Document patient assessments and care plans in electronic health records
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for coordinated care
- Monitor vital signs and report changes to charge nurses
- Educate patients on discharge instructions and wellness plans
- Adhere to HIPAA and hospital safety regulations
Qualifications
- Active Washington State RN license (or eligible)
- BSN degree from accredited nursing program
- ACLS/BLS certifications within 90 days of hire
- Basic proficiency with electronic health records (EPIC preferred)
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including nights/weekends
- Clinical rotation experience in acute care settings
- Passion for patient advocacy and continuous learning
