Responsibilities
- Deliver compassionate patient care in accordance with evidence-based nursing practices
- Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and document patient assessments accurately
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatments, and preventive care
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations, safety protocols, and hospital policies
- Participate in shift handovers and maintain clear communication channels
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and patient satisfaction metrics
Qualifications
- Valid Georgia RN license (or compact license with intent to obtain GA license)
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited program
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required, ACLS preferred
- Completion of clinical rotations in acute care settings
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent interpersonal skills with demonstrated empathy
- Commitment to ongoing professional development
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
