Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in assigned clinical units following established protocols
- Administer medications and treatments accurately per physician orders
- Monitor patient vital signs and document electronic health records (EHR) meticulously
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans
- Educate patients and families on health conditions and discharge instructions
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance and hospital safety regulations
- Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Valid Wisconsin RN license (or eligible to obtain upon hire)
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN preferred)
- ACLS/BLS certification required (or obtainable within 90 days)
- Clinical rotation experience in acute care settings
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
