Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care including assessments, medication administration, and treatment implementation
- Monitor patient vitals and document clinical information accurately in electronic health records
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to develop patient care plans
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatments, and discharge instructions
- Adhere to hospital protocols, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
- Participate in shift handoffs and maintain clear communication with care teams
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and patient safety programs
Qualifications
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
- Active Kansas RN license or eligibility to obtain immediately
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from American Heart Association
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced clinical environments
