Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in clinical settings including assessment, medication administration, and treatment implementation
- Document patient information accurately in electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, medications, and preventive care
- Monitor patient vital signs and report changes to healthcare providers
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain strict patient confidentiality
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and safety protocols
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Colorado
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited program
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Recent nursing graduate (within 12 months) or new RNs with less than 1 year experience
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency with electronic health record systems
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
